(Confederate ) 2nd in command under LT Bennett H. Young.
He participated In the spectacular Raid of St. Albans,
VT 19 Oct 1864. That event is covered in Confederate
Operations in Canada and New York by Headley,
and in Confederate Agent, and has been dramatized in
a movie. His name is carried on Confederate rolls as
WILLIAM H. HUNTLEY, serving in LT. Youngs 5th Co
Retributors, and also Signal Corps, C.S.A.
